The 1500 mAh Li-Ion battery provides 12 hours of 2G talk time and 8 hours of 3G talk time and guarantees 430 hours of standby time.

The central cube key looks very cute along with the send and the end keys. The AMOLED screen shows brilliant and vivid images. The TouchWiz interface is the biggest unique selling point for the Samsung I8000. The menu is distinct from other windows mobile phones you have ever seen. The home screen and start menu are updated. And the menus are quite convenient so that you don’t need use the stylus. There are four start menus screens that can be customized with the widgets you prefer. Though lacks QWERTY keyboard, the Samsung i8000 makes great effort to complete the onscreen keyboard, so it is quite easier to send SMS, MMS and email. For your web needs, you should use the Opera mobile browser with limited features. Full flash support was much anticipated, but it is not present in the Samsung I8000.
